Code on the processing of personal data
The Italian code applicable to data processing (Codice in materia di protezione dei dati personali) was enforced on Jan 1, 2004 by “Decreto Legislativo 196 del 30 giugno 2003”.
The Code was the first attempt to harmonise and organise all previous pieces of legislation regarding privacy and related matters. The document is a collection of all the provisions dictated by Legge 675/1996 and following degrees, regulations and ethics codes, in addition to Directive 2002/58/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council of 12 July 2002 concerning the processing of personal data and the protection of privacy in the electronic communications sector (Directive on privacy and electronic communications)
This website only collects and stores data in anonymised form for optimisation purposes.
Data collected by Google Analytics cannot be used to identify you personally as a visitor to this website, and it is not possible to establish a user profile. The sole purpose of the data is to improve the service which UNISS offers on its internet site.
Person responsible for data protection
Pursuant to Decreto Rettorale Rep. 2015/2012 Prot. n. 22326 del 19 luglio 2012 the persons responsible for the processing of personal data are appointed pursuant to art. 29 of the Privacy code:
A) As for the central administration:
- the Manager (Dirigente) responsible for ICT services, limited to the processing of personal data in digital format
- each Area Manager, limited to the activities performed by the units managed by him or her
B) As for the units and facilities not included as part of the central administration:
-the Directors of the Departments The President of the School of Medicine The Presidents of the Degree Courses
-the Directors of the post-graduate schools Each of which limited to the activities performed by the units managed by him or her.
C) The Rector limited to the activities performed by his or her personal Office.

We use your information to:

The data that we collect from you may be transferred to, and stored at, a destination outside the European Economic Area ("EEA"). Please note that countries outside the European Economic Area do not always have the same data protection obligations as we do. However, we will take steps to ensure that your information is used by third parties securely and in accordance with the terms of this privacy policy.
